解析: It occurred to him
Last weekend, a little child carelessly fell into the Yangtze River in Jingzhou. Just then, a college student passed by and jumped into the water without second thought. The drowning child was saved but the student died. His untimely death sparked off a heated discussion on the Internet over whether it was worthwhile.
Personally, I think he did the right thing coming to the child’s rescue. However, a reckless disregard for his own safety finally cost him his life. In a way, the tragedy could have been avoided if he had sought help from other people on the spot.
To be frank, a heroic deed deserves praise, but what really counts is that one shouldn’t put up struggle immediately in case of any emergency but should calm down and find a way out.
